Deborah Rice, a hot air balloon pilot and jet pilot, spoke to Baytown Rotarians recently about her aerial journeys. She also gave the history of hot air ballooning, which was quite interesting.
She is a retired teacher and always wanted to fly hot air balloons. So, when she had the chance, she got started. Soon after she started, however, all her equipment was stolen. She began again. Read the full story in The Baytown Sun here ...

Dr. Isabelle Vladoiu, left, spoke to Baytown Rotarians March 19 about her non-profit organization, the United States Institute of Diplomacy and Human Rights. She will be the guest speaker at The Baytown Sun's Women's Expo at 10:30 a.m., March 20 at Baytown Community Center.
Dr. Vladoiu was introduced by Houston Veterans Rotarian Judith Dubose.
